The band ROHEY is a phenomenon. The four friends met during jazz studies in Trondheim, and started a band that made groovy, funky versions of standard tunes.

Footprints and Bye bye blackbird stand out among their repertoire, but eventually found the core of the catchy yet complex compositions by Ivar Blomqvist. The interpretation by Rohey Taalah on vocals, Kristian B. Jacobsen on bass and Henrik Lødøen on drums are intense and gripping.

ROHEY was on an extensive tour during summer and autumn of 2016, where they warmed up for Jarle Bernhoft, and the band grew with each passing day - from the exciting and funky to a mature and fiery soul-ensemble, engaging audiences both with their music and how they own the stage during live performances.

On 31 March this year they released their debut album on Jazzland, and many of us are looking forward to the album A Million Things, which will contain clever and catchy soul songs with energetic arrangement, exciting chords and ravishing performances from the musicians!

Welcome to a groovy and engaging experience!
