Spunk released their first album Det eneste jeg vet er at det ikke er en støvsuger (The only thing I know is that it isn't a vacuum cleaner in 1999. Since then, they have released three more albums plus a remix album on the same label. The music is created through improvisation by four musicians who are also composers. Their refreshing ensemble play has brought them much international attention on the noise music, new music and improv scenes. In Molde they will improvise with the French double bassist Joëlle Léandre, whose previous collaborators read like a "Who's who" of improv and new music.
