Thimar is a project that fuses inspiration from several continents, conducted by the oud player Anouar Brahem from Tunisia. In the meeting with Brits Dave Holland and John Surman, a music is created that defies classification, it is refreshing and beautiful and the saxophone/clarinet, oud and double bass touch on many different traditions without fixating on either one.
The stage has been set for another holy moment in Molde Cathedral.
