The members of the New York band Hazmat Modine are like the city they come from: a melting pot. They mix a potion of all kinds of musical styles such as blues, jazz, klezmer, calypso, funk and whatever else it takes to deliver a fantastic show. The band members all have impressive CVs that include the NY City Opera, David Bowie and Charlie Haden. The band is fronted by two harmonica-players/vocalists. They have released two critically acclaimed CDs and have spent the past five years touring worldwide and attracting a lot of well-deserved attention. Their concerts are intense and captivating and their music easy to like – without compromising on quality. What matters most to Hazmat Modine is that their audience should be entertained by good music.
