Spend the whole evening at Romsdalsmuseet

With Thomas Dybdahl, Jarle Bernhoft and Timbuktu taking the stage one after the other at Romsdalsmuseet, it should be plenty to look forward to during Wednesday of the festival-week.

Master of melancholy, Thomas Dybdahl, has the pleasure of setting this party into motion at 16:30. Dybdahl has won three Spellemannsprisen-awards, released six albums, and collaborated with a host of prominent artists. In order to record his latest album, What's Left is Forever (2013), he traveled to Los Angeles and Hensing Recording Studios. Why? To be helped by legendary producer Larry Klein, whom previously have worked with artists such as Joni Mitchell and Herbie Hancock.
As Ola Kvernberg will also be in town for the festival, rumors claim that the eclectic violinist might show up for a guest appearance.

Jarle Bernhoft (17:30) has through his close-to-a-decade long career as a solo-artist garnered a large and faithful host of fans, domestically as well as abroad. With a live sampler, which allows him to build layer upon layer, he sets about constructing entire orchestras while being alone on stage. The unique technique, sense of melody, and love for blues and soul, has made him a sensation with millions of views on YouTube, as well as landing him on American TV-shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Conan. Bernhoft is set to release a new album in April, and we're very much looking forward to it.

Timbuktu (19:00) is the Scandinavian hip-hop star. He raps in true skåning, a Swedish dialect, and isn't afraid to challenge genre-definitions, and, last but not least, he has an incredibly tight comp in the backing band Damn!. Timbuktu is also set to relase an album in 2014. The first single, "Spring", has already been released, and we'll get to hear more of it at Romsdalsmuseet come July.
