Kristiansand-based punkers Honningbarna have, over the last few years, made an explicit impression at concerts and festivals throughout the country. Every since the EP Honningbarna (2010) the band has built an ever-increasing fan-base.

With two full-length albums, La alarmane gå (2011) and Verden er enkel (2013), the band has fortified their position as something relatively new and hard-hitting, and Honningbarna is also a band that's not afraid to have an opinion - something quite liberating in an age where punk isn't necessarily political. With a large-scale European tour in 2013 the whole continent has started paying attention to them.

Music magazine Louderthanwar.com wrote, among other things, when reviewing the latest album that Honningbarna sings "with enough energy that you don't need to understand what they're saying".

VG's Tor Martin Bø rolled a 5 on the dice and had the following to say about La alarmane gå back in 2011: "Never before has soft consonants been this aggressive and hate-filled. Goodbye, oh sweet and mild Sørland. Hello, oh gloomy and real world."
