Orango is known as a truly hard-hitting rock-machine. With six albums behind them, the boys from Eide have garnered a faithful fan-base. They describe their own music as a catchy mix of dirty rock, delta blues, soul and west-coast rock with elements of vocal harmonies.

Colonial Militia vol. 2 is the second part of a planned trilogy, and was released last year. The album was hailed by large parts of the music-press. Among others, Ny musikk hver dag, wrote that "Orango, the nations most delightful rock-band, have made their best album so far."

Orango consists of Karl-Joakim Wisløff on bass and vocals, Trond Slåke on drums and vocal, and Helge Bredeli Kanck on guitar and vocals.
