Susanne Sundfør isn't just one of our times most popular Norwegian artists, with her jazz-and classically-inspired pop-music she's one of the most unique. That Sundførs music is full of layers can easily be grasped when she lists her influences; Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Radiohead, Radka Toneff, Rufus Wainwright, Ane Brun and Thomas Dybdahl.

Since her eponymous debut-album in 2007 Susanne Sundførs career has only gone one way; upwards! She received a "Spellemannpris" for both this and her second album "The Brothel" in 2010. «The Silicone Veil» from 2012 has received a almost unison corpse of critics to bring out the biggest superlatives. -"Almost indescribably brilliant" Luke Slater of BBC wrote, and the internationally acclaimed website Pitcfork put the song «White Foxes» on their "Best new tracks"-list. Sundførs experimental musical orientation has led to exciting collaborations with other artists, something the hit  «Running To Sea», a collaboration with Røyksopp, is evidence of. She has also been part of writing a song for the new Tom Cruise movie «Oblivion».
It's not only her albums Sundfør has received stellar critics for. - "Pure magic, as simple as that" a journalist from Dagbladfet wrote after last years concert at the Øya festival and rewarded it with a 6 out of 6 score. In other words; we have every reason to raise our expectations before Sunsanne Sundfør performs at the Romsdals museum on Friday the 19th of July.
