This years festival-exhibitor is Ove Stokstad

Kunstnersenteret Møre og Romsdal, in cooperation with Moldejazz, introduces this years festival exhibit. Ove Stokstad, chosen to create this years festival exhibit, is an artist who graduated at Kunstskolen in Trondheim as well as Kunst- og Håndverksskolen in Bergen. Stokstad has held over 30 separate exhibitions, and he has been connected to Kunstakademiet in Trondheim for several years where he is a professor teaching graphic courses.

Ove Stokstad: Thelonious Monk: Criss Cross

In addition to being a notable visual artist Stokstad is also a jazzmusician and plays both the saxophone and the clarinett. He's behind several recordings with various groups, and in many of his graphic works it's musical experiences that inspired the motives.

In this exhibition the artist will display both graphic and paintings from a long artistry. Kunstnersentere and Moldejazz look forward to cooperating on the exhibition which opens at Kunstnersenteret in Plassen on Monday July 15th.

The exhibition will be open between July 15th and August 18th.
