| Moldejazz has in spirit of the jubilee- festival initiated several special projects who will have their world premiere during the festival. Many of the projects will be a one- time only happening during the festival. The biggest project will be presented on the outdoor scene at Romsdalsmuseet Friday the 23rd of July. |

Ståle Storløkken has developed music for a large ensemble and brings three of Trondheim's most important musical institutions to Molde. A project crossing genres that includes Motorpsycho (Motorpsycho play music that can generally be defined as psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from metal, jazz, rock, pop and many other musical styles.) Trondheim JazzOrchestra and TronheimSolistene (String orchestra)
Second part of the concert includes a collaboration between this year's Artist In Residence, Nils Petter Molvær and Brazz Bros together with eighteen musicians from Sula.
The concert will be broadcasted LIVE on national television on NRK.
