Wiik/Vandermark/Taylor
Two of Americas most hard working jazz musicians and a previous Artist in Residence meet at Forum.
Chad Taylor belongs both in the musical environment in New York and Chicago, and varies between different projects and bands.
He plays as elegant in free- as in structured contexts.
Ken Vandermark has been one of the most central performers on the Chicago scene in the last 20 years. He has played in several larger and smaller bands, also with Håvard Wiik in Free Fall. Håvard had his Moldejazz debut in 1992 and twelve years later he was Moldejazz' Artist in Residence. He has had sucess both with his own trio and with Atomic.
