Herbie Hancock
Herbie Hancock brings with him a group of six people with guitarist Lionel Loueke, bass-player Tal Wilkenfeld, drummer Vinnie Colaiuta and two vocalists. Hancock has been one of the most important pianists of jazz music since his breakthrough in the mid 60's. For the album 'The River', Herbie Hancock recieved a Grammy award for album of the year in 2007- the second jazzalbum in history to recieve this recognition. Herbie Hancock is currently working in the recordingstudio to finish working on his new album. The album "The Imagine Project" is scheduled to be released in June this year. We have previously announced that the guitarist Jeff Beck will be playing at Romsdalsmuseet on the same day. - Jeff Beck is also a guest musician on Hancock's new album.
