Anders Eriksson and Moldejazz part ways

Anders Eriksson and Moldejazz have reached a mutual understanding of having different opinions on key points when it comes to how the festival should be run. As such the parts have agreed that the most sensible solution is to part ways.
- I've had a interesting year as festival director, but acknowledge that we have different views on the way forward, and that as such it's only fair and reasonable to both parties involved that we part ways now, says Anders Eriksson. - I've appreciated working with both the staff and volunteers, and wish them the best of luck in future years, Eriksson continues.

- There's conscensus on both sides is that we're in disagreement of how to develop the festival. The strategic discussion and details surrounding this is not something we will go public with, but we note that we have different views. Both parties have agreed that we don't wish for such a dispute to be a part of the future of Molde International Jazz Festival, says Chairman of the Board Ingrid Kvande.

Work has already begun on next years festival, and as such both parties agree that it's sensible to end the cooperation now.
