Bus schedule during the festival week

- To offer a night bus service and added departures that the inhabitants are familiar with, we have chosen to maintain the departures which were previously run by Atlantic Auto, Eide Auto, Aukra Auto. As well as Veøy´s routes towards Skåla, explains Kristine Vikhagen advisor in Møre og Romsdal County Municipality.

Increased Routes

As last year, there will be night bus departures in Molde. The routes included are: 701 to Årølia / Djupdalen, 702 from Hatlelia and 714 to Hjelset / Kleive. In addition the night route 421 to Sølsnes, 510 to Eide / Vevang, 532 to Elnesvågen and Bud / Farstad. If neccessary route 561 to Jendem and Hollingsholm / Aukra and 531 to Nye Malmeskiftet will be serviced. - There will also be a few extra departures to Molde during the evening. This ables passengers to get to town as well says Vikhagen.

Changed driving pattern in the city center

Due to concerts in the Alexandra Park and people in the streets, the night bus does not pass by Quality Hotel Alexandra or Thon Hotel Moldefjord. The buses from the west will follow a route through Sandvegen, the Upper Road and Spolertbakken. Westbound buses will drive through Romsdalsgata, the Upper Road and Sandvegen.

- All routes departing the city center will start at Molde traffic terminal. We request that travelers have their card, cash or ticket in the FRAM app ready when boarding. We hope that as many people as possible will take the night bus. It is important that we can repeat the offer during the jazz in 2018 says Vikhagen.
