Romsdalsmuseet

Moldejazz' largest venue is idyllically situated between ancient wooden houses at Romsdalsmuseet, one of the country's finest folk museums. These museum-concerts have an audience capacity of 10.000, and plays an important part in offering a widespread range of concerts. Earlier, at this very stage, Moldejazz have presented names such as Leonard Cohen, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Sting and Lauryn Hill. Many of these artists have expressed that they've thrived at the museum, including Paul Simon who said that it was hist most beautiful concert ever.

Concerts at the museum is free of charge for children under school age, and there are often discounted tickets available to teenagers, amongst others through the "Kulturrabatt for ungdom" offering.

With such a large audience capacity, security is a necessity for a good concert experience, and we therefore ask the audience to respect the current safety regulations. We have a storage tent for non-permissible objects, but to ensure fast access to the grounds we ask that you leave the following behind at home: Chairs, bottles, animals, cameras/video-equipment and umbrellas.
