Moldejazz started in 1961 as a small weekendfestival, and has since grown into an enormous festival with between 80.000 and 100.00 visitors. In 2009 Moldejazz arranged 140 concerts, 70 of these free, selling 30.000 tickets.
The festival administration expands from six people on a regular basis, to almost 800 during the week of the festival.
Moldejazz is like an adventure. No doubt there can be hectic days working as a volunteer; but it`s still an amazing experience. Incredible musical experiences, exciting festival-friends and great experience in music- and festivalproduction are some of the benefits.
